Global Digital Signage Market Projected to Reach $115 Billion by 2030, Reports Omdia

According to a new report by Omdia, the global digital signage market is expected to grow from $84 billion in 2024 to $115 billion by 2030, driven by DOOH advertising expansion, retail digitalization, and smart city initiatives across Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.

A comprehensive market report released by Omdia in March 2025 projects significant growth for the digital signage industry. The report identifies key growth drivers including the expansion of DOOH advertising networks, increasing retail digital transformation investments, and smart city infrastructure development.

Asia-Pacific leads growth with China, Japan, and South Korea accounting for 45% of new installations. The Middle East and Africa region shows the fastest growth rate at 12.3% CAGR, driven by mega-projects in Saudi Arabia and UAE.

LED display technology continues to gain market share over LCD, particularly for outdoor applications. The report notes that fine-pitch LED (under 2.5mm) shipments grew 35% year-over-year, driven by demand from corporate lobbies, control rooms, and broadcast studios.

Key market segments by revenue share: retail (28%), transportation (18%), hospitality (14%), corporate (12%), healthcare (9%), and other sectors (19%). The DOOH advertising segment alone is expected to grow from $22 billion in 2024 to $35 billion by 2028.
